  BIO MY LIFE

  “If qualifications were enough to satisfy my purpose I would be on a different path. I thank God that His purpose for humanity trumps all my qualifications."
   
   As a Woman I have worn many hats. As a mother, wife, pastor, grandmother, prison coordinator, chaplain, culture strategist and entrepreneur just to name a few. I had achieved my PHD in Theology and a Master in Christian Counseling. In pursuit of fulfilling my call as a Senior Pastor. But none of these titles and accomplishments exempt me from the storms that’s comes with just living life. Or from this physical storm which had invaded my life. A life storm that interrupted my peace of mind. I was no longer the healthy and confident woman I wanted to be. I found myself living life with uncertainties, limitations and disabilities.
  
  As I faced my physical storm I sudden loss the love of my life in May of  2015. He was my husband and my soul mate and best friend for 40 years. This was the storm of all storms which interrupted my entire life. From its impact I soon discovered that this storm had excluded me from my perfect world.
  Broken by life's interruptions and the challenges of being a widower. I became overwhelmed with sadness and depression. I felt so lonely, fearful, isolated and full of uncertainties. These unexpected events challenged my faith and led me on a path of self-discovery, healing and true purpose.
  
  My Methodology and path to Recovery came by remembering those life lessons imparted to me by the mentors in my life. Those mentors were my Rainbows. I didn't know that the wisdom they shared from their own personal life journeys would be my guide. Their shared wisdom gave me the strength to endure and the tools necessary to navigate through my toughest storm.
  
  From those truths and the wisdom that I had gain from my own personal journey. I discovered my healing, wholeness, and a way I could help others. By being that rainbow in someone else’s life who may be facing a storm or need a little encouragement and wisdom to get through it.  By sharing and telling my life stories through my video's that I call My Recipe's 4 Life. In hope that they could be utilize whenever needed. Through these videos I share my life lessons and the wisdom gained from them. To be a Voice of Hope to help others to find their way to Better Days and Blue Skis.

  GRACE AT THE TABLE

  Grace At the Table is a place that is inclusive in that it offers Hope to Humanity. It is the place where I get to share my wisdom and serve my recipes for life gain from my own personal journeys.They are shared and illustrated through my videos I called my recipes 4 life. Through them we travel through the studio of my life. To offer hope and encouragement from my life lesson learned. Grace at the Table is a progressively growing platform as we introduce its different levels in stages. In an atmosphere which foster a no judgement zone to offer hope to humanity. Stay tune!

  A Woman Called Moses In Motion

  Dr. Freda Laraye is definitely A Women Called to be a Voice in this season of uncertainties.  As a Women that’s in Motion her community efforts and initiatives in past and present years, through her non-profit ALM(S) is evident of her great Humanitarian heart. As a Culture Strategist she seeks to find positive ways to bring positive changes within the communities with high rates of suicide. As part of her platform these initiatives allow her to bring awareness and support to those initiatives that are important to her as a Humanitarian.

  THE MODERATOR

  Dr. Freda Laraye is Life Moderator and Interpreter! She is a Different kind of Drum Major! Her Voice is her instrument of praise to comfort. Her gift as a teller of life stories has afforded her several opportunities to share her gift in theater/plays productions, prisons and schools program.
  
  She is more than a Life Moderator and Interpreter. She is a prophetic poet and a creative writer as illustrated through her shared wisdom and creative bodies of works.

  When Life Storms has beat upon the foundation of our lives. The devastation often catches us by surprise and causes us to evaluate our peace of mind. That is why I created The Positive Thinkers Club and Clubhouse.
  
  The Positive Thinkers Club is a place where we get to examine life issues and learn from life lesson to help to find a better solution to overcoming the feeling of helplessness.
  
  The Positive Thinkers Clubhouse is for Positives Thinkers who want to be a Positive Light. And want to make positive changes not only to their own lives, but are able to impact others to positives changes in their lives too.

  ALM'S NON-PROFIT

  ALM'S is a non-profit organization formed to assist and serve Broken Humanity. Our past services has ranges from resources to spiritual encouragement. ALM'S was founded in 1985. ALM'S has served in the Chaplaincy Department throughout Texas and US. We successfully Launch a Family Affair (Mom/Dad Day Out). Implemented at the Carole Young Facility located in Texas City, Texas. An initiative that focus on building and strengthen the relationship of children and their incarcerated parents during incarcerated. An initiative create to combat the high rate of recidivism that is common among children of incarcerated parents.
  
  Throughout state of Texas, ALM'S has serve within the Criminal Justice System for over 25 year, by conducing their Spiritual
  Enrichment Worship Services. We offer these services through the Texas State Chaplaincy Department, to inmates at the Planes State Jails, Gatesville, Hobby, Lockhart Units, Harris County Boot Camp, and Harris County Jail.
  
  ALM'S has provided personal hygiene items for women in several of the Gatesville Units in Gatesville, Texas.  ALM'S has work with other organization such as United Ways Gifts & Kinds program, The Beacon, Lighthouse Mission, Better Health For Better Solutions formerly know as The Dreyfus Health Foundation, and as Coordinator for the Bill Glass Weekend of Champions. A ministry to thousand of inmates throughout the United States.
  We have received donations from Wal-Mart, Fiesta and Sam Clubs. Alms have received grants from The Dreyfus Health Foundation/Better Solutions for Better Health.
  
   ALM'S have provided toys and gift cards to families to assist them during holiday season. We have provided meals and given out coats, gloves, socks, and hats to the homeless. ALM'S has organize community outreach programs and serve by volunteering in halfway houses, soup kitchens and shelters in the Houston area. ALM'S continue to look for ways to be A Voice Hope and Encouragement to Humanity. We look to partnering with other such help agencies to continue to offer resources and look for solution for hurting humanity.

• MISSION

  My Mission is to bring positive reinforcement from the lessons that I learned from my own personal life journeys to help others to do the same. I am my own life moderator. My focus is to share my journey in a creative way that is Inclusive, Insightful, Impactful and Inspirational to humanity. Our logo the train was chosen to signifies Humanity and its multi colors represent diversity. As a culture strategist I seek ways to uplift broken humanity. My prayer is that my mission and community efforts would reach and encourage all humanity.  What I have learned from life's challenges is it doesn't discriminate. I am grateful for those mentors in my life that I call my Rainbows. Step by step their wisdom and insight assist me in putting my life back together. It has created a New Life Path to help others to do the same by being a Rainbow in their lives.

• Vision

  Dr. Freda Laraye is a Great Humanitarian. She is the visionary and founder of ALM'S,  Grace at the Table, My Videos My Recipes for life. The Positive Thinker's Club/Clubhouse,  and A Woman Called Moses In Motion. Her vision was birth from her love for humanity and her desire to see individuals walking in love, peace, healing and wholeness with a purpose direction. To be a voice of encouragement in those community greatly affected by suicide. Her vision of Inclusion, in the spirit of God's love, peace and decency birthed Grace at the Table. She states, "If I am to move forward I must move forward as a agent for positive change for all mankind. But never in my own strength but by God's will in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

• Awards

  As a Great Humanitarian and a seeker of solutions she has served in many capacities and have accomplished many things. She has obtain a Doctorate Degree in Theology, A Master in Christian Counseling, Ordained Minister, Sr. Pastor, Chaplain, Culture Strategist, Motivational Speaker, Coordinator of Prison Evangelism and Director of Outreach. She founded and implemented A Family Affair. It is a ministry to children and their incarcerated parents during parents incarcerated. She has over 25 years of experience in offering spiritual encouragement to inmates in prisons throughout Texas and the US, including Death-row. She has received many awards and work with several organizations such as Unity Way, Solutions For Better Health/Dreyfus Health Foundation, Lighthouse House Mission (Men Shelter) and Coordinator for Bill Ministries/ Day of Champions. Once voted to be A the Silent Hero and given the same self-titled award. She has continues to let it motivate her to be A Voice for broken Humanity!
